(Part III) Applying Eight-Step Methodology to Utility Projects

For the reasons outlined in the last post, bringing in an OCM consultant from the Five Forces team was the right thing to do. Five Forces Consulting teamed up with internal communications professionals and focused on messaging.
We created a specialized strategy to communicate in a method that promoted adoption to the new Cherwell software and soon-to-be formal procedures. Because brainstorming with the Project Sponsor proved ineffective, our application of OCM for this stakeholder was for our team to make simple messaging for a complex topic. We knew we would have to plan the Project Sponsor’s messaging which he was free to accept or reject.
We chose to create an email campaign.
